Basic Course in Auriculotherapy 2026-2027

The course

Auriculotherapy is a medical technique that involves stimulating specific points on the outer ear. This training covers its anatomical, embryological, and neurophysiological foundations, as well as its applications in medical practice.

The course series organized by the ABMA is based primarily on the theories of Dr. Paul Nogier and the work of Dr. David Alimi.

Training content

The training covers:

• the history of auriculotherapy;
• the embryology and macroscopic and microscopic anatomy of the ear;
• the innervation of the auricle;
• the neurophysiological foundations of auricular mapping;
• the localization of points on the ear;
• neurophysiological analysis of patient pathology and the development of a treatment plan;
• the applications of auriculotherapy in various medical specialties;
• demonstrations and practical exercises using tools such as needles and cryotherapy.

This neurophysiological approach can also serve as an advanced study for physicians who have already completed training in auriculotherapy.

Practical information

The training consists of seven Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Coffee breaks are included in the price. Participants may bring their own lunch or visit a nearby restaurant.

Price: €1,100 for ABMA members and €1,200 for non-members.

The course will be taught in the language of the majority of participants, subject to a sufficient number of registrations.
